Coming from Fusion

The mental model carries over: sketch first, then turn the drawing into a solid, then go back and change the drawing — and the solid follows. What changes is that the timeline, the sketch palette and the dialogs are one drawing, one dock, and one popover that grows out of what you selected.

Sketch dimensionD: pick a line (length), a circle (radius), two points (distance), a point and a line (offset), or two lines (angle), then click to place. Type a number and the geometry obeys.
ExtrudeStep out of the sketch and click inside a closed area — a popover grows out of it with Add or Remove, a depth field, and Confirm. Nothing lands until Confirm is pressed. The depth also has a handle on the model: press the arrow and pull.
RevolvePick the area and a straight line of the same drawing (a construction centreline is what it is for); the popover becomes a revolve about that line.
SweepDraw the section on one plane and the path on another; pick the area, pick one curve of the path, and everything welded to it comes along. No numbers — the path owns length and turn.
Fillet (edges)Round in the model dock: tap edges (tap again to take one out), set the radius on the card — the model previews the round while you type — and Confirm.
Cut / join as body operationsAdd and Remove on the same popover: a Remove is a real boolean cut through everything it passes.
TimelineThe feature tree: every sketch and solid operation is a named entry, editable in place, and the model rebuilds from the drawing when anything changes. Suppressing a feature keeps the rest.
Press-pull on a faceOpen the sketch the face came from and drag the wall — the solid is rebuilt from the drawing on every edit, debounced, not on a preview that can drift.
Orbit / pan / zoomDrag to turn the model over, wheel to move in and out toward the cursor, middle/right-drag or hold Space to slide. 2D and 3D keep their own cameras.

The one idea to pick up

Features store names, not copies: an extrusion remembers which area of the sketch it stood on, an axis is the line it was, an edge is the two faces meeting there. Change the drawing and everything resolved from those names moves with it — that is the timeline, made out of the drawing itself. If something it was attached to is gone, the feature says so in the tree and waits, rather than guessing.

What goes out the door

The drawing exports as DXF, the solids as STL or STEP. Imports come back the same way: STL meshes and DXF drawings land as part of the model.
