The short version: your drawings are yours, they stay on your machine by default, and nothing is measured about how you use this app until you ask it to be.

Your documents are local first

Work starts with no account. Projects save into your browser's own storage on your device and are never uploaded. Clearing your browser data deletes them; that is the deal, and it is stated in the app, not buried.

Accounts

If you create an account, we store the least that makes it work: your email address, a password held only as a salted hash (or a Google account linkage if you sign in that way), and the projects you choose to sync. Synced documents are stored so that you — signed in as you — can open them again. We do not sell account data, and there is no advertising of any kind to sell it to.

Payments

Paid plans are processed by Stripe. Card numbers go from your browser to Stripe and never touch our servers; we keep only Stripe's customer id and your plan, so your subscription can be found again.

Telemetry is strictly opt-in

By default the app sends nothing about how it is used. There is one toggle — Settings → Privacy → “Help improve CAD” — and it is off until you turn it on. While it is on, and only while you are signed in, the app sends: visible-time heartbeats (so we know what is worth maintaining), a handful of named product moments (a sketch was drawn, a demo was opened), uncaught errors, and — only if you opted in — a session replay.

Replays mask every input you type and refuse to record the sign-in panel and the welcome tour, so a replay shows the drawing, not your details. Nothing anonymous is collected: the tracker follows the signed-in account or it does not run at all. Turning the toggle off stops everything immediately.
